World Number 1. UFC 214 Fight Card It’s likely the deepest UFC 214 Live MMA card of the year thus far Saturday night at UFC 214 Fight Card from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, highlighted by a rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones for Cormier’s light heavyweight title. However, the champ is a 200 underdog at sportsbooks monitored by ufc211live.net with Jones at -260.
UFC 214 Fight Card It’s rare you see a champion as such a sizable underdog in the UFC 214, but that tells you how good Jones is – or at least could be again. For a handful of years, Jones was the pound-for-pound king UFC 214 Live of the sport and ruled the light heavyweight division after first taking the title in 2011 at age 23. The problem is that Jones can’t get out of his own way outside the Octagon.
UFC 214 Fight Card
He was to fight at UFC 214 Live Stream last summer against Cormier but was pulled after submitting a positive sample for a banned performance-enhancing substance and suspended for a year. Jones (22-1) was the light heavyweight champ when he beat Cormier in a convincing unanimous decision title defense in January 2015 (testing positive for cocaine prior to that).
Jones instead fought Ovince Saint Preux, on short notice, at UFC 197 and beat him by unanimous decision. The only guy to beat Jones was Matt Hamill in The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale in December 2009. Some have criticized the UFC 214 Fight for even giving Jones a title shot again so soon considering all of his issues.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight finishers Cris Cyborg and Tonya Evinger will throw down this Saturday (July 29, 2017) at UFC 214 inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Despite being under UFC’s employ for UFC 214 Fight Card well over a year now, the unarguable best female Featherweight on the planet is without a title strap.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send Sage Northcutt back down to lightweight for a 155-pound clash against Peruvian UFC 214 Fight Card upstart Claudio Puelles at the upcoming UFC 214: “Cormier vs. Jones 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for July 29, 2017 inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

UFC 214 Rematch Puelles (7-2), meanwhile, is looking to rebound from a technical knockout loss to Martin Bravo in his UFC 214 Fight Card Octagon debut at UFC 205 back in November. The 21-year-old “El Nino” has six finishes in seven wins.
Elsewhere on the card, Renan UFC 214 Fight Card Barao and Aljamain Sterling hook ‘em up for bantamweight bragging rights.
Volakn Oezdemir seemingly UFC 214 Fight Card came out of nowhere. After edging out Ovince Saint Preux earlier this year in his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut, “Cousin” went on to knockout top-ranked Light Heavyweight contender Misha Cirkunov in a mere 28 seconds at UFC Fight Night 109 a few weeks ago (see it again here).
That win was good enough to earn Oezdemir a co-main event slot at UFC 214 on July 29, 2017, against none other UFC 214 Fight Card than Jimi Manuwa. And to hear Oezdemir tell it, “Poster Boy” is going down … fast.
But, don’t think for a second Oezdemir will be content with stopping there because he is not in UFC to play it safe, planning to go straight for the title should he get through the No. 2-ranked fighter. Indeed, he’s already planning a post-fight callout that will request the winner of the Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier title fight, which will headline the pay-per-view (PPV) event that same night.
“It’s fast, but it’s been a long process … I’ve been training all my life for this moment,” he said.
“After my win against Manuwa, I will be 3-0 and I will have a win over No. 6, No. 3 and No. 2 in the world,” he continued. “Gustafsson lost against both [Jones and Cormier], so it would be a rematch. Maybe the division needs some new blood. I’ll be there.”
Despite his confidence, UFC 214 Fight Card it will be very hard to convince UFC matchmakers to give him a shot at the strap over “The Mauler,” seeing as how the towering Swede put on perhaps the best performance of his career against Glover Teixeira recently.
Still, that won’t stop Oezdemir from trying,
“I always try to finish my fights fast and actually I’ve always done it … I found my old self in that fight, finishing people in one minute or two minutes.”
Indeed, 11 of Volkan’s 13 victories have come via first round finish. But, can he add Manuwa — who has devastating knockout power of his own — to his ever-growing hit list?
He is first win after dropping a unanimous decision to current Featherweight champion, Max Holloway.
UFC 214 rankings while Jason has yet to crack the Top 15; however, a win over “The Bully” would obviously change all of that.
In the co-main event, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is a (-203) favorite to retain his title over challenger Demian Maia.
Unsurprisingly, UFC 214 Fight Card Cris “Cyborg” Justino is the largest favorite of the night, coming in at a (-1300) favorite against Tonya Evinger in their bout for the vacant women’s featherweight title.
For those interested in placing money on longshots, Evinger is a (+875) underdog to Justino.
However, for some perspective, Holly Holm was a (+1000) underdog to then undefeated bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey prior to UFC 193. Ultimately, bettors who put big money on Holm cashed in on that fateful night.
UFC 214 Fight Card will take place on Saturday July 29, from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
As illustrated above, UFC 214 Fight Card this will be no easy task for Evinger. Even at 145 pounds, Cyborg has a rough cut that could affect her gas tank.
With Evinger’s wrestling background, her strategy is obvious. As Cyborg pushes forward, Evinger can level change into a shot or the clinch.
Bottom Line: After the de Randamie disaster, this is a fresh start for the division. That one is Cris Cyborg. It would be a great symbol of all her years of dominance that happened on smaller events with fewer viewers.
UFC 214 Fight Card As for Evinger, she wasn’t the first choice to face Cyborg. That said, she’s definitely a respectable opponent, having defended her Invicta title twice. It’s a massive step up in competition, and few expect her to win.
